AUFGABEN

  • Oversee all technical aspects of the development process for our performance sport shoes
  • Contribution to the product creation process by providing costing, performance and technical solutions
  • Creating and maintaining tech packs for assigned projects, including blue prints, shell patterns, color cads and material maps
  • Clear/detailed daily communication with production team in Asia to carry the product creation process from initial concept, through commercialization and production
  • Monitoring timelines and alerting in case of any delay/deviance
  • Finding/testing of new materials/technologies and maintaining material library
  • Oversee and analyze market needs, trends and competitors
  • Visits of suppliers, manufacturers and trade fairs

PROFIL

  • Education in the field of product design/development and at least 3-5 years of professional experience in shoe industry
  • Good knowledge of materials, pattern making and footwear fitting as well as basic knowledge of laboratory tests
  • Strong interpersonal communication and management skills to manage multiple projects at different stages of development
  • Well versed in dealing with Adobe CS (Illustrator) and 3D software (Rhino)
  • Very good command of English, German language skills are an advantage
  • Team player with a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working and a positive mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally
