Position: Laceless Freelance Footwear Developer/Product Manager

Contract Type: Retainer (15hrs-20/month)

Experience Level: 3+ years

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Footwear Developer for a retainer contract position. You will design, develop, and deliver performance-focused footwear products. Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to bring innovative and high-quality designs to market. Key focus would be to manage the development timeline, client relationships and product costs. Maintain technical specifications, Manage fit testing, and address manufacturing challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in footwear design, industrial design, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Footwear Developer in a performance-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of footwear design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Passion for performance footwear and understanding of athlete needs.
• Sustainability knowledge is a plus.
